Photos of Our Week in Missouri

Last day of VBS at the community center

Testimony time at the Community Center in Fulton.

Tuesday our men finished the south side of the roof on this football field size building.

Workers cooling off at lunch time.

All day on a metal roof is hot work.

Our youth leading local children activities.

Sunday we worshiped with the members at Southside in their old building
attending both the morning and evening services.

We visited the job site after the morning worship site.  This is the building where we will be working this week.  Our assignment is to finish the roofing.  Pray for dry weather.  They have had lots of rain and it rained twice today while we were here.

Each summer we (FBC Grandview, Texas) send a group of construction workers to help a struggling church with their building needs. This year our destination is Fulton, Missouri where we will help with the construction of a new worship center and activities building. The group departed from Grandview on July 25. They will work in Missouri for a week and return home on Aug.1.  Fulton is a city of just over 12,000 residents situated in central Missouri.
Those of our group not directly involved in the construction work will find other ministries in the community while we are there. Often we conduct a VBS or have backyard Bible clubs in the area. We will be serving at the pleasure of the local church. Please be in prayer for our group as we seek God's will for our time in Missouri.  This year the youth will travel with us under the able leadership of Jared Greer.
